Our Psychology and Counselling courses and diplomas are not Nationally Accredited. These courses are not Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications and are not nationally recognised qualifications in Australia.

These are industry-accredited courses, recognised by the International Council for Online Educational Standards (ICOES) and the International Accreditation and Recognition Council (IARC). They are designed for introductory learning, practical skills development, personal interest and development.

These courses do not lead to registration as a psychologist, counsellor, therapist or mental health professional in Australia or any other country.

Courses have been developed as a starting point for students with no prior experience in this area of study. Designed to provide an introduction to psychology and counselling concepts and may help you decide whether you wish to pursue further formal study, such as a university qualification, in this area.

On completion of this course, you will have a foundational understanding of the subject matter. However, if you wish to start a career as a registered psychologist, counsellor or other regulated mental health professional, you will need to check the entry and registration requirements in the country or region where you intend to practise. In most cases, this will require additional study through an approved university or recognised education provider, along with supervised practical experience.

For Australian students, becoming a registered psychologist requires an approved psychology pathway and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. This usually includes accredited university study, supervised practice and/or postgraduate qualifications.

These courses do not qualify graduates to work as a registered psychologist, counsellor, therapist or regulated mental health professional.

These courses are designed as an introductory starting point for students with no prior experience in the subject area. It may be suitable for personal interest, self-development, general professional development or as a way to explore whether you wish to pursue further formal study.
